The encaustic monotype process allows the fluidity of molten wax and pigment to meet the immediacy of printmaking, each pull from the heated plate captures a moment where colour, heat and movement briefly align before settling into a fixed surface. Each print becomes a record of that brief interaction between temperature, pressure, timing and the material's own behaviour.
