Paper Sculpture Series I
Handprinted Monotype Paper Sculpture
In this project, I investigated space, colour, shape and the properties of paper through the means of handprinted monotypes that were cut, folded and transformed into three-dimensional paper sculptures.
When the paper sculptures became too delicate to survive on their own, I continued the creative process using photography to capture the intriguing interplay between light, shadow, space, organic shapes and rhythmic lines and loops in different compositions.
